Instructions
  1. Take ghee in a saucepan and add milk.
  2. Now add milk powder, mix well so that no lumps are formed. For even mixing, I used a whisk.
  3. Now whisk in powdered sugar.
  4. This forms a goey paste, cooks under low flame, and proceeds to blend with a laddle. It will get thick and begin to leave the sides of the pan.
  5. The IIt will form a dense mass and collect. It will exit the sides of the pan quickly.
  6. It’s going to be a sticky mass that will easily come together as shown below. Grease your fingers, take a pinch (be careful it’s going to be hot), roll and see on a plate if it’s easy to form a ball then turn off.
  7. Immediately transfer to a greased pan and level the top with ghee greased spoon. Now sprinkle nuts and saffron on top and press it with a spoon. I put a parchment paper inside the pan and greased it.
  8. Let it settle in room temperature. Cut in squares for atleast 15 mins and enjoy! Deposit and support.
Recipe Notes

Do not cook any more, this will result in a hard burfi.

The mixture seems goey but becomes tight after cooling down so switch and set it immediately.

Have the formula changed after a few tries.
