Oven Roasted Oyster Mushrooms are made from 5 simple ingredients only: Oyster mushrooms, salt, pepper, rosemary and olive oil.
The most striking combination of flavors! You end up the tastiest vegan snack you’ve ever had! What’s more, on soups or in salads they do a great touch.
Oyster mushrooms are our favorite among all types of mushrooms, because we love their shape and making easy recipes with them is so easy.
As you can see, this is almost a single ingredient recipe since it requires oyster mushrooms and seasoning. Salt, pepper, and oil are staples of nearly any dish and we always have them in our cupboards.
Fresh rosemary is optional, but its flavor very well combines with mushroom flavor. So it is strongly recommended.
I can’t think of an oyster mushroom recipe any easier than this. The method is simple: Combine and bake everything in a baking sheet.
It is pretty simple! Let me explain two phases of the matter:
Use your hand to separate single mushrooms from the main stem, like tearing them off the stem.
You can also use a knife but I find the method of tearing easier. The hard rubbery ends on the stems.
Use a damp kitchen towel or paper towel to clean every mushroom.
We love snacking on these chips of oyster mushrooms and we mostly enjoy them as they pair with cold beer. Believe it or not, these two match amazingly.
